Our sterling silver snake chains are made in Italy from solid 925 silver. Tiny plates are joined so closely that there are no visible links, giving a smooth, flexible chain that drapes beautifully.
Snake chains are made for pendants. The 0.92mm is our most-ordered chain, fine enough for delicate pendants, while the 1.4mm is a touch sturdier. Both fit standard pendant bails and come in 16" to 24".
Which Width and Length?
- 0.92mm: fine and delicate, ideal for small pendants.
- 1.4mm: a little stronger, for everyday wear or larger pendants.
- Length: 16" to 18" suits most pendants on women; 20" to 22" is popular for men.
